If I was Wikipedia i would probably said that Yiddish is a high German language of Ashkenazi Jewish origin, spoken throughout the world. It developed as a fusion of German dialects with Hebrew, Aramaic, Slavic languages and traces of Romance language. It is written in the Hebrew alphabet.
but since i am not a Wikipedia (at least for the last time i checked) i would say that Yiddish is a language spoken by grandma's and old neighbors that every time they see you they say something in Yiddish and Pinch your cheek.

Basically because I got for my 18 birthday this gold necklace with the word "meydale" on it and since then a lot of people start calling me like that and it wasn't so weird because this nick name is a kind of fitting me, you know, because maybe I'm 19 but i look a little bit smaller (ok, maybe more than a little..).
