All about the power of the matching suit

Earlier this month Tamar Karavan, an Israeli fashion photographer and producer or like everybody like to call it "afashionicon", joined to the Israeli brand twentyfourseven for a capsule collection under the name "iconic 10". This collection represent 10 classic pieces that according to Tamar are a must have in every girl closet and supposed to be a complete wardrobe, so if you traveling; this collection will be all you need to pack. All the pieces are carry the same pattern but in three different colors: blue, red and yellow (a classic black option is also available in each garment) so if I can call it somehow I will say that it's a party of matching pieces!

if you ask me, the matching suit outfit has some mysterious super power, it's like some kind of  a superhero outfit that give you this super hero super powers (super super super)(super). I believe that if I lived in my perfect utopic world my wardrobe should have been compose from suits in every pattern and color, suit for every day, for each mood and for any occasion. Well maybe I'm overdo here and as soon it will happen I'll be missing to my individual and single garments but for now it seem perfect solution for my everyday lasting wonders in front of my wide open closet about today's outfits combination. now you probably think I picked the "lazy solution" but no, I picked the "bold and lazy solution" (yaeh still lazy, never claimed I'm not), with all it greatness the suit don't have that much of popularity around the globe, let's say it is more a thing from the past, when your grandmas used to hit the streets, looking fab in their matching skirt and jacket (that explains why my grandma always bring me her old cloths in pairs....). some will say that suit of matching cloths it's too much but I'll say that it's the perfect amount of "too much", it's the thick line between "too much" and "exaggerated" and since "living on the edge" is my middle name (its o.k... you may lough now.. I made myself lough too) it makes me a big fan.
If I will take this matching thing one step forward why not matching your whole world?! That's what the British brand "House of Hackney" is doing, making your entire world look the same! Starts with your dress continue with your bed pillow and ends with your night lamp. Well.. I think it's just wonderful..(A sigh of relief)

Somewhere in the beginning of the summer I started working on my own matching pieces. Somehow it extended till now (finished last week). the colors are all shiny and happy as befits to summer vibes and it is way too short for this time of the year or anytime closer, but I'll wait for the sun to pop out (and for the temperature to rise) to show off with my new creation. For now I'm just trying on and practicing my boldness (and laziness).

Wearing my own design matching top and shorts, Bebaroque stocking, American Apparel white garter belt, white chunky heels sandals from my grandma, thrifted coat and TFS flower bag

It's getting messy in wonderland.

You know this filling when so many things are skipping in front of you and it is all messy but good messy, beautiful shiny and bright  messy when you pray to god (or to Darwin, whatever you believe in) and just wish for it to never end and desist from all its messiness?! (this is the time when you look at each other wondering what in the name of all sane people I want from your peaceful life) well I do! And it just happened while watching Meadham Kirchhoff fashion in motion at the Victoria and Albert museum (wish I was there but unfortunately it all happened tnx to the internet inventor and my personal laptop). And it is happening every time I'm exposed to everything related to this magnificent duo that also known as Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff or just Ed and Ben (yo). Dazed digital made a short video about it. If you are savvy you should watch it.

Since they start to appear on the runways at the London fashion week few years ago, back in the times when I was freshly new innocent fashion interested blogger I sensed that something good is about to enter our lives. They know the right amount of "too much "so they are so wrong that they are so right. Well.. I guess they caught me in their full of weird fishes net.
Recently (to be exact from November 21) they appeared with a new and dam good collaboration with Topshop. It's a collection combined lots of gothic pentagrams symbols trims dreamy colored t's, happy cowboy jackets and some furry cotton-candy-look-alike platforms so as use of many colors from the pastel-ish pallete alongside with clownish variegation. If I had to define it somehow more specific I would probably say santa meets boho HIM meets unicorns with pj's and they all lived happily ever after. unfortunately after finely being accessible to us, simple mortals, my country is not one of the lucky ones to have this collection in our Topshop stores and no, Topshop don't deliver to here (shame on you. you busters) so for now I'll have to watch this collaboration through my laptop screen. Who said life is faire. These are some selected items. Now excuse me, I went to wet my pillow with tears.

You are a drama queen

Hi there
One last time complaining about something not fashionpassion related
So here it is

Why everything is has to be so dramatic in here. The winter came in late (only at the start of December) but it hit us in all its strength. Well maybe to all of you European countries residents it will be like a lovely winter. still, my country is a summer lover (after all it covers most of the year) and we are not that used to this kind of weather especially not when it hit us out of the blue, but even though we didn't made our pre preparation for the "not seen something like tihs for the past 100 years" cold weather nothing justifies the panic that created around it, someone used the words "country under siege" and someone used "country by storm"and i won't name who (ahm all the news folks). Sometimes we need a beat of perspective in life.

Finish
And now
Me in a cape
Tartan cape
(My grandma tartan long cape originally came from Scotland ((the cape not my grandma)), VITRINA paisley jeans dress, happy socks tie dye tights, Topshop buckles boots, target plastic gold earrings)

Next time pure fashion
Bye
